TABLE 8 HUMAN COMP

Spending a day out of class to work on our two best dot piece and using that method with all of my team mates in TABLE 8. We all got along very well on how we were going to work this whole thing out.

We each helped each other out on how to do the circles and our bodies into it. We had different photographers to take pictures because it was very hard to stay on the tree where Keenan said it was uncomfortable to lay on.

!!!ADMIT ONE!!! Modeular Maddness masterpiece.

So Kathy said to play with your object and see how it goes, so I played with my object. I tried to figure out what the hell I was going to make out of these tickets. At first I wanted to detach the tickets apart, but then I figure I should listen to my object  it wanted to stay a whole.

After trying and trying to figure out what I was going to make, this is what I began to make and gradually came closer and closer to the ending.

Amazing how the outcome of just regular "AMIT ONE"  tickets hanging off a wire became my mmaster piece with just a few glitches that I intend to fix. lol.

Some of the critique comments that were said is maybe I should have either hidden the bolts that were placed or had chosen some smaller bolts. Some one commented that I should've had less string that was wrapped around on top that gave it some distraction. Possibly lifting the tickets higher to have a better view. Well then other these comments, it was not as bad as I thought.

LINE TO THE ENTRANCE

LINE TO THE ENTRANCE

I looked up and down, I even turned side to side to see if there was any way I could see. As I looked up all I seen is the black skies and sparkling stars.  When I bowed down to the floor all there is to see is the tile I stood on. I could not believe tonight was the very night that there was a crowd as anxious as I was to enter. I stood on my tip toes to look over on the side, but it was no use because this stranger in the front was too tall and blocking my view for a short girl like myself to have a peek. I heard a song coming from my phone and it was an incoming text. I thought well at least reading this text and sending a reply may make it go by faster having this conversation. Then it started moving, we moved as if we were part of an ocean wave and I was getting closer to the entrance. I knew what I wanted, though it seemed as if the couple in front was having a debate whether or not they wanted to watch the same thing. I could understand the debate with having so many options open because everything looked amazing. That family need to realize that there not the only ones that are here and had the chance to decide before even arriving. Yet, here we are waiting patiently while they decide and we can have another step closer. Seconds and minutes went by ticking and ticking and the next thing I know I am looking straight forward the line to the entrance was finally over and I was standing right in front of the booth. It was finally my time after waiting and waiting in the dreadful line there I was at the front center entrance. Here I am at the booth and I pay for my ticket to watch “DEVIL” the movie and I ran inside. It felt relieved to have conquered the misery of standing and waiting on a long line at the movie theatre. I can now rest inside the big screen and comfortable seats with my popcorn and PowerAde.

I decided to use water bottles and put them in a line because it gave me the idea of what I was going to write about in "A line story." I used the bottles as people who are standing in a line and trying to get into the entrance. It made me think well I remember the time I went to the movie theatre and my brother and I were standing in the booth line for ever.

REVISED LINE STORY:

LINE TO THE ENTRANCE

I looked up and down, I even turned side to side to see if there was any way I could see. As I looked up all I seen is the black skies and the sparkling stars.  When I bowed down to the floor all there is to see is the tile I stood on. I could not believe tonight had to be the very night that there was a crowd of people as anxious as I was to enter. I stood on my tip toes to look over on the side, but it was no use because this stranger in the front of me was too tall and blocking my view for a short girl like myself to have a peek. I heard a song coming from my phone and it was an incoming text. I thought well at least reading this text and sending a reply may make the time go by faster having this conversation. Then it started moving, we moved as if we were part of an ocean wave and I was getting closer to the entrance. I knew what I wanted, though it seemed as if the couple in front was having a debate whether or not they wanted to watch the same thing. I could not understand why they had to debate when they should have known a head of time what they were going to purchase. That family need to realize that there not the only ones that are here and had the chance to decide before even arriving. Yet, here we are waiting patiently while they decide while we can have another step closer if they were done. Seconds and minutes went by ticking and ticking and the next thing I know I am looking straight forward at the line of the entrance was finally over and I was standing right in front of the booth. It was finally my time, my chance after continuously waiting in the dreadful line there I was at the front center entrance. Here I am at the booth and I pay for my ticket to watch “DEVIL” the movie and I ran inside the theatre. It felt relieved to have conquered the misery of standing and waiting for a long period of time in line at the movie theatre. I can honestly say that I can now rest inside the big screen and comfortable seats with my popcorn and PowerAde drink.

Research

LANCE LETSCHER
An established American artist with a growing international reputation, Lance Letscher transforms found paper into works of art that are mysteriously evocative, often playful, and graphically beautiful. Letscher precisely cuts and recombines scraps of old books and letters, children's school exercises, recipes, album covers, and other ephemera into motifs that suggest forms abstract and representational. In these collages, which vary from small works on paper to elaborate constructions as large as nine by fourteen feet, Letscher emerges as a skilled colorist and abstractionist who allows blocks of color and fragments of phrases to open up intriguing avenues of memory and association. RAUSCHENBERG
Robert Rauschenberg (October 22, 1925 – May 12, 2008) was an American artist who came to prominence in the 1950s transition from Abstract Expressionism to Pop Art. Rauschenberg is well-known for his "Combines" of the 1950s, in which non-traditional materials and objects were employed in innovative combinations. Rauschenberg was both a painter and a sculptor and the Combines are a combination of both, but he also worked with photographyprintmakingpapermaking, and performance.[1][2] He was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1993.[3] (Wikipedia).
